1. You need to open up the GIMP program.



2. Once GIMP is open you will want to go to File&gt;Create&gt;Patterns&gt;Render Map...





3. I box called &quot;Script-Fu: Render Map should pop up. Keep the Gradient on land and sea if you want it to look real.





4. When you have the settings to your ideal render map click Ok.



5. Your results should look like this, If you used the settings I did:
