When you are writing HTML what do you save it as in Notepad.

Save is as a .html to open it up in a web browser and .txt to open it up as a text file.

OR save it as html then right click and select open with notepad

Actually. Before in the earlier stages of programming you were only allowed to have three letters in your extension.
That's how .htm was created.
soo... you can save it as .html or .htm
by the way if you cannot open the file in notepad, open notepad and drag the file in.

dude. you can open it in notepad... open notepad then select "open" then look for the text file ur looking for even html !
